Guest guest
A Question left over from Monday for Swamiji please: Someone asked if the bolt/bin is the same as knots or granthis. You answered yes and it seems there was a reference to cakras. My questions are: 1. Are there specific knots to be dealt with in each cakra? 2. Do the Argala and Kilakam deal with them all together, without distinction? 3. If one has a particular ‘knot’ are there mantras to be specific? 4. And last, In Paratrisika Vivarana there is a reference from the Trikasarasastra which says, “Anuttara is the heart (centre) of all. There is a knot in that heart. Knowing the knot to be sixteen-fold, one should perform one’s actions (sadhana?) at ease.” (prameya, pramana, pramata, and pramiti each having the four states of srsti, sthiti, samhara and anakya = 16) - pgs 27 & 30 translated by Jaideva Singh. In the case of the Heart is ‘sauh’ the mantra that awakens or opens the Heart so grace/anugraha can loosen/untie the knots? I ask this because you know of Kashmirian Shaivism and Abhinavagupta. Most of my study has been in this system and I am thrilled at seeing connections between this and Chandi! The Three Goddesses as the Triadic Heart of Siva! Thank you Swamiji, Marsha from Twain Harte __
