Guest guest
Dear Family, Notes from today's class: Wherever there is something known by the senses, She is present. If you have sankalpa to bring Her into manifestation, if that is the goal of your being, She becomes manifest. Consciousness means to perceive. Think of all the goes in through your organs of perception: Madhu and Kaitabha, too much and too little are there. Kaitabha means insignificant as an insect. Too little. Madhu means as sweet as honey. Too sweet, too much. The meditation of chapter 1 can be used as a visualization whenever we want to battle too much and too little. Madha and Kaitabha attack Brahma and not Vishnu, why? They know they cannot devour infinite consciousness. But they can stifle our creativite capacity. What are the oblations of purity in verse 73? Are they invoked ina specific context? Anytime we make an offering with purity, with pure intention, pure words, that offering is oblation of purity. Guest guest
Namaste all family: Thanks Srini for the excellent recap. The class was very powerful to me. I have heard Swami give discourses on the Chandi several times, and each time a new level opens up. Tonight's " aha " for me was the meditation, or visualization, whcih can be used as we chant chapter 1 of the Chandi, or perfrom japa of the Navarana mantra, or any worship of Divine Mother. Swami indicated that as we read the verses which discuss Chandi waking up in the hands, feet, head, chakras, etc, we should visualize Her, Divine Mother, Shakti, Pure Awareness, waking up inside us, and coming out of us through our eyes, hands, etc., and materializing in front of us, so that we can worship Her, and have a relationship with Her. His words reminded me that chanting the Chandi is helping to create inside us the exact reality stated in the verses. We are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, We are Divine Beings, but we are asleep. Our Divine Creativity, the Brahma inside us, cannot function to manifest our highest idea of perfection because Too Much and Too Little are constantly bothering us, not allowing us to sit and chant , or meditate, or sit at the homa. The shakti has to awaken within, so that our creativity can manifest, and the shakti can take Her power from our ego and other distracting thoughts, and focus Her energy on our highest qualities, and Too Much and Too Little can be put into balance when we enter into union with Chandi, our own Divine Nature. Thanks Maa and Swami for unfolding these sublime levels of consciousness for us.
