Guest guest
Namaste all: In the book: " The Nectar of Eternal Bliss " , Page 121-122, Ramakrishna talks about normal devotion and pure devotion.... " Normal people do normal things, and they may have a little devotion to God, but they also have attachment to this world. In fact, they become hypnotized by their attachments and desires. A fly sits sometimes on a flower and sometimes on delicious sweets. Sometimes it sits on a pile of filth. Those who are Eternally Perfect Beings are like the bees who will only sit on a flower and sip the nectar. They only drink the nectar of God-consciousness. The devotion that sadhus derive from their sadhana is not the same as the devotion of worldly people. Worldly devotion always calculates. " I have to do this much japa. I have to sit for so many hours of meditation. I have to do that much worship. " They keep an account of how much they do. Swami always prays to Chandi asking for Pure Devotion during the group Chandi every Sunday. May She grant us all Her Grace.
