Guest guest
Namaste all family: recently our family has been very quiet. How is everyone? What topics would you like to cover? What questions do you have for Maa or Swami? How are you feeling regarding the turmoil in the world? How is your sadhana? I have been pondering what it means to be a disciple of a Divine Master. Today I had a chance to talk to Maa. She indicated that it is so important to perform sadhana. Sadhana purifies one and allows one to become more subtle. As one becomes more subtle, the Guru is able to align with the disciple, and help them grow closer. The Guru will do anything required to help the disciple work through their karmas. And, they can take some of that karma from the disciple, and lessen their burden. Even if it effects the Guru's physical body. I cannot fathom the love and commitment the Guru has for their disciple, but I am certainly thankful for it. Guest guest
Jai Maa and Jai Swamiji. Namastes and greetings in the arrival of May showers and flowers, as we all get into our internal grooves. It is but natural that often we, and some of the the devotees, and disciples of Shree Maa would occasionally take deeper breaths to take in the world around us, as we continue our daily sadhanas, and live through the the ups and downs, and dwell in our self created karmas, and obtain relief from the prarabdha karmas. We constantly relive our bonds with our Guru, and pass on to them, our own inner and often silent sufferings, since we may not fully realize the effects of their selfless love, compassion, and continual guidance. As you have rightly pointed put, one has to feel their presence in every aspect of our lives, whether sweet our sour, hot or cold, with equanimity and strive to our best in whtever are our vocations, and feel that we are creating a better world for the future, and that we conscious of our shortcomings, and yet attempt to recover from them. As Shree Maa has maintained, performing our own sadhanas does help in purifying our thoughts, actions and words. How true and how relevant now, more than ever. Jai Maa , With love and wihsing for more grace, Babu
Guest guest
Dear Vishweshwar, For someone who does not know what devotion is, or for someone who may be new to all this (spirituality, discipline etc... ) does sadhana give devotion as well ? I read once (I think in this group) that to love god is to do sadhana... is that right ? Jai Maa, Prasana. inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 wrote: Namaste all family: recently our family has been very quiet. How iseveryone? What topics would you like to cover? Guest guest
Namaste, i have a question for swamiji. i hope this can make it to him. Namaste Swamiji, someone had asked you if karmas get eradicated when we do our sadhana, you replied sayng that the parabda karmas do not get eradicated but they cannot come to us when we are busy doing sadhana. But wont they eventually take fruit regardless? How is this not a way of putting off our karmas to another point in time? And furthermore is there any method of liberation from these karmas besides pure moksha? love and light. Guest guest
Namaste Vishveshwar, From personal experience, I have a question. If we perform sadhana mechanically (while our minds are wandering) does it still help to keep doing the sadhana regularly? Can we hope that one day (in spite of the disinterested sadhana) we will gain the faith and devotion that makes the sadhana more fulfilling to our hearts? Guest guest
Namaste Vish, Only today during break i was reading Chap 1 of the Devi Gita Supreme Energy (Mother) had become angry due to the actions of Siva and Visnu causing them to become negligent and inattentive. The world was in turmoil. Brahma called on his sons and other dharmic souls to perform extreme austerities with devotion in order to please Supreme Energy so that She would become manifest once more. Verse 26 of that Chap says "That family in which they (The Goddeses) take birth, and he (who gives them birth) will be filled with energy. That family will purify the entire universe and he himself will obtain the objectives of all actions." Maa's words in your post reminded me so much of that chap. As Gurujis continue to give us the tools and guidance by which we can birth the Goddesses in our "house" in our "families" – and the more sadhana we as devotees/disciple perform the more work Gurujis are able to do in the worlds. Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is Maheswara. By Guru's grace may our devotion increase. Jai Maa Jai Swamiji Kalia PS: The Net has been very slaw and difficult for the past ten days or so. , "inspectionconnection108" <inspectionconnection108 wrote:>> Namaste all family: recently our family has been very quiet. Guest guest
Namaste' Prathibha... I hope you don't mind my replying to your question but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I have the worst mind. I am amazed at some of the places I find my mind wandering to while I chant the Chandi (or anything else for that matter). I've found my mind making grocery lists, rehashing conversations I've had in the past or might have in the future, thinking about people and places that I never think of at any other time... I'm sure you get the idea. Anyway, everytime I catch my mind wandering off and I drag it back (by the hair haha) I am filled again with such joy at having a place to bring my mind back to! Without sadhana there isn't anywhere to return to and we just stay out playing in the fields of maya. With sadhana we return over and over again to the feet of our Divine Mother. What a sweet home to come back to! I've also found that over the years I've been engaged in this sadhana that as I become more familier with the texts and how the sanskrit words feel in my mouth that this familierity allows me to chant with even more enthusiasm and keeping my mind at Maa's feet has become much easier over time. Anyway, from my own experience and in answer to your question... our desire and devotion definitely increases as we continue doing our sadhana, no matter how often we find ourselves wandering, the point is to keep coming back!
