Namaste: thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences with Chandi

and Shiva. I realize anew the great blessing we have being here

together. Over the last weekend, I was with my family for a reunion

and my Mother-in-law's 90th birthday. I love them all, and served

them, and was attentive to them, to the best of my ability. Our

children, our grandchildren, extended family, and Mother -in - law,

are all great people. Each is doing the best they can in this world

and trying to make the world a better place. Each is facing the

challenges of life from their own point of view. Some love God, some

don't think She exists. Others are bored by the religious rituals

they take for granted.

And in the midst of pondering the huge diversity of creation, and the

wonder of each person's private destiny, I wonder how we all became so

blessed to meet Maa and Swami, these Magical Beings who can transform

our Earthly desires into Heavenly Reality?

And, if we have been given this magical once-in a-lifetime chance, how

will we demonstrate our feelings of gratitude?

All we can do is sadnana. Maybe at times it is mechanical. Other

times boring, other times difficult or taxing.

But, it is the only way we can " pay back " the blessings we have been

given. And, when we have emptied ourselves of all that we have been

given, and all the blessings have been laid at the Master's feet, and

we are empty of all desire, then, and only then, can She fill us

completely with Divine Love.

So we take baby steps, and give back what we can, and someday, in Her

time, She will bring us Home.

Jai Ma Jai Swami
