Guest guest Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 Namaste all family: tonight, Swami gave a beautiful discourse on Chapter 13 of the Chandi Path. Maa was in attendance. In this chapter, Chandi comes to those who have completed chanting the 700 verses and asks the devotee what boon they desire. Swami did not tell each of us what we should ask from Mother, but he cautioned that if one asks for anything less than pure devotion, one risked never achieving complete satisfaction. If one has pure devotion, then everything one does, everyone they interact with, every thought they have, all will be harmonious and focused on Mother. No action will be self motivated, all will be focused on serving Mother in all Her forms. This is a life worth living. This is the goal we should work towards. He said it is very important to know exactly what one desires so that when Mother comes, one has it on the tip of their tongue. Be clear on what you want, and ask for the highest.
