Guest guest
Namaste Swamiji and Shree Maa, I have been doing the beginners puja (the half of it still learning and reading) for about a week now and naturally chanted for three weeks 108 times the Om Namah Shivaya. the problem is that i have been doing this through a normal Buddha statue. There are three of them on the altar and a imagined on to be Ganesh, one to be Parvati and one to be Shiva. i have now (thank you lord Shiva for this gift)obtained a beautiful large statue of lord Shiva in sandalwood and of Ganesh. what do i do with the other Buddhas is Shivas presence still there in them? are they allowed to stay on the altar or must i remove them.? also is there a greeting or a ritual to invite the new statues of Shiva and Ganesh ?one question i still have is i am an artist can i also carve a Shiva statue myself or is privilege only allowed by a guru to do this. Alexjanna. thanks Swamiji i love to watch your videos and listen to the stories of the deities, and thanks for giving us the beginner puja. I will order all books and cds soon.
