Fear, too much, too little, self conceit, and self deprecation, all are generals in the army of the great ego. Remember that the ego won the boon to control all mankind, to control everything. We all say: " I " am doing this, or " I " am doing that. But there is a way out. Throw yourself into the Chandi, or whatever sadhana you feel attracted to, and let go, throw every emotion and all fear into the fire burning inside. That fire of burning desire to be free of all fear, to be free of the ego and all attachment. Let the mantras take away your mind and lead you into Peace, and Freedom. This is not an intellectual pursuit. The mind cannot win this battle. We cannot reason our way out of this trap. We must " go beyond " to taste freedom, and with that taste, we wake up, and remember our divine nature, and strive with greater determination to become Gods and Goddesses once again. Maa and Swami light the path before our feet. They have trod this path, and know the twists and turns. When you're overwhelmed, call on them. They will hear and help. That is why they are here on this Earth.
