Guest guest
Namaste Russell: Eastern devotees as well as Western devotees experience the same thing. This is a universal experience. The Chandi Path was cognized by an Eastern Rishi, yet it describes egocentric issues that everyone experiences daily. Likewise, the cure works for everyone. Proper use of mantras, i.e. chanting the Chandi in the prescribed fashion, one can experience more and more subtle states of awareness, and when Maa grants us the boon, we will " go beyond " . Maa and Swami tell us we must persevere. The ego is a tough opponent and is firmly entrenched. So, daily we perform our sadhana and keep focused on the goal. We pray for help, and follow the examples of our Gurus. They, and countless others before them, have used these techniques and won the battle, and reached the goal of life. So, take heart, and pray for the strength to persevere. Maa and Swami and all the Great Masters are with us, silently watching and guiding us. It is as if the mind has a big rubber band tied to my soul ... and the farther I go toward infinite realization, the more the negative pull makes progress difficult. The negative pull may arise from western assumptions about how things, mind, and spirit are connected, and a western cultural lack of support for things of spirit. > > Russell >
