Guest guest
Namaste all, Henny asked, Why perform Navaratri 4 times a year? See complete question below. Swami's Response Namaste Henny, While anyone can perform Navaratri at any time, it is quite interesting that the four major Navaratris are exactly three months apart. Magh Navaratri is in the middle of winter is a wonderful opportunity to withdraw from activity and sit by the fire. Chaitra Navaratri in the Spring celebrates the coming of the planting season. Ashar in the Summer takes place when the plants are in the ground and other than protection, most of the work has been completed. Ashwin in the Fall celebrates the harvest. -- In , " henny_v_i " <henny_v_i wrote: > > Namaste Vishweshwar, > > thank you for announcing the beginning of Summer Navaratri. Guest guest
Thank you, Swamiji, for this explanation. It has made me realize that these four periods offer us the opportunity to celebrate the cycle of our personal lives as one with the cycle of Divine Life. Thank you, as always, for the inspiration, with love and deepest respect, Henny vi_Mandir , " inspectionconnection108 " <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namaste all, Henny asked, Why perform Navaratri 4 times a year?
