Namaste all family: as Guru Purnima draws near, we would like to

offer our most profound gratitude to Maa and Swami for all the help

they have given us.

As a gift to them, we would like each devotee to share how something

that they learned from them changed their life.

We will offer these to Maa and Swami on Guru Purnima.

Jai Maa Jai Swami

I have never met either Shree Maa or Swamiji. I heard about them from

my sister Neelima, who adores them.

I think you have to be blessed to meet people like Maa and Swamiji. I

pray to God for the day that I may be able to actually physically see

them… Hopefully in November in Benares.

BUT amazingly, most amazingly, I can feel their love across the

thousands of miles between California and Tehran.

This long distance love affair started with Ganesh Puja translated and

interpreted so well by Swamiji.

I earnestly began to pray to Ganesh as described in the book, (and

explained by Neelima, wonderful sis, thanks for all your love and

caring in giving me all those wonderful books from the Devi Mandir)

I looked up the Shree Maa website and opened an account in

Groups and soon I received a wave of blessings, long distance, from

Swamiji and through him, from Maa. They sent me the Durga Path and

life has since changed. Our life is changing. My husband and children

and I feel more closely bonded by overwhelming love. People tell me I

have changed. The presence of God has become stronger. Life is more

meaningful. Good things are happening.

Swamiji's talks, discussions, answers to so many questions have helped

me in defining life's goals much better – in understanding life, in

giving context and allocating priorities to work, relationships,

prayer, worship, satsang and in relating to my inner self.

Swamiji and Maa's explanations of the Durga Path and various other

books are handbooks for living.

It is the grace of the Guru that brings understanding. It though the

grace of Swamiji and Maa that a new world has opened up for me. Books

that I had since long ago are being rediscovered. It is as if the

Cosmos is trying to help me.

I think Swamiji and Maa are Shiva and Shakti.

Thank You Divine Guru. I bow to you humbly to thank you for your

guidance.

A humble devotee

Manjusha

Dear Devi and Everybody!

It is definitely NOT too late to write a message for Guru Purnima. We

are putting together a little booklet with messages from everyone who

likes to send a write up about what they learnt from Shree Maa and

Swamiji and how it has affected their lives.

If you asked a question to Swamiji and it helped you get a new

insight, if you participated in webcam class and it helped you...if

you learnt puja or pranayaam....or...please feel free to write

whatever you learnt and post here or email to n_ramya.

We want to express our gratitude and tell Them how their specific

teachings have brought light in our lives! Jai Maa! Thanks! :)

We will be compiling everything this weekend - so if you can send it

before that, it will be wonderful!!!! Jai Maa!

Thank you everybody!

ramya :)

Dear Ramya,

This has been my experience:

Everything about the Guru is special, every lesson learnt and moment with the Guru is precious. The Guru has no position and can therefore bring one out of any mess. The Mantra given by our True Guru is our true mantra. Following Guru's instruction is true sadhana. Every look of the Guru is grace and every contact with the Guru a blessing. Tough circumstances that the Guru puts a person in, a great blessing, is for the revelation of the Self and grant purification. The Guru wishes me well more than I can ever think about for myself and without a doubt the Guru is one to be most highly respected. The Guru is the source of true love. The Guru is like a Mother. The pure love of the Guru is so powerful that even if you are physically far away from the Guru's physical location, it does not matter. The Guru is always working for the well being of their children.

Love and light,

Jai Maa,

Prasana

Jai Maa.

I love my Gurus because they have not only taught that our full human potential can be reached but through their selfless acts and living example has shown how and provided the tools by which I can reach God realization. For this priceless gift, I am truly grateful and pray for grace to live a life pleasing to the Beautiful Beings this child feels privileged to call Gurus – Beloved Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati – for to me They are One and the same, a true representation of a Chakra, Shiva Shakti, Sita and Ram.

May Beloved Gurujis be blessed for all eternity.

Pranam
