Guest guest
Namaste Friends! Let us discuss Chapter 4 of the Holy Chandi Path! The Chapter begins with the meditation of Mother Durga. In verse 1, Medhas Muni says, " after the demise of Mahisasura, the Gods became extremely joyous and began to praise Mother. " This Hymn that the Devas sang is called the Shakradi Stotram, verses 2-27. She is the energy of the Universe. She protects the entre world and destroys fear and impurity. She is the Goddess of True Wealth in the homes of virtuous souls, misery of those who perform evil. She is Intelligence in the hearts of the pure, faith to the truthful, humility to the truly noble. Sri is true wealth. One question that is interesting is, " what is our true wealth? " When are we truly wealthy? " Could you please share your thoughts on this question. I look forward to your discussion! Jai Maa! srini
Guest guest
Namaste Srini Sadhu, I think we are truly wealthy when we are able to appreciate our resources and use them efficiently. For example, I may have collected a lot of things which I may never have the time to use, or even remember that I own them! Such wealth is of no use to me. Wealth is both tangible and intangible. I think examples are so numerous and so personal that they are best left for each of us to think about for ourselves. Jai Maa and Jai Swamiji! Guest guest
Namaste Srini, I am privelged to join the discussion today. My personal opinion is that we are truly wealthy only when we do not need anything. As long as we want something we are poor, even beggars. True wealth is the realization that all that is belongs to us for we are not separate from it. Guest guest
Srini, Namaskara Srini ji,Edward from Seattle, [now in Portland, OR]. I have a window of opportunity to see the questions regarding Chapter 4/Chandipath. I have started to reading Chandi, and this is my sixth day in doing so. To respond to the question as to "Mothers" protection: I have of late been very worried on Identity theft; as I have been receiving of late that theives from all over the world, are attempting to rob me electronically . I get email thanking me of opening accounts, multiple times, etc! I have no income except for student aid in my Graduate studies. So, this had a big worry for me and have been feeling lost in search of what to do with this situation. After reading the Chandi, I have had these feeling that I have am to pay attention in the various ways Mother will protect! Protection of my financial identity and livelihood. After I began reading Chandipath, six days ago, I have had this sense that I should not let this overcome me from some "unknown source" that is dark and unfamilier to me, but that I would in some way will be protected and that I should not to worried. I too have thought, how is this (Chandi) to work, my faith is open to her (Maa's) blessings I thought.Well, I had just got in from visiting my academic advisor at school, but on the way back, I found myself having to pay extra cost in bus far. I wondered what that was all about. While, I got home, and soon learned that this was a valuable lesson indeed. I soon would acknowledge that the cost of my fare was inconsequential. I felt the need to turn on the T.V. Next thing I know, I have tuned in to a program on [identity Protection]. So, needless to say, I have signed up, thanks to Maa (Chandi) blessings. I simply don't have words to describe to you how much reciting Chandipath (faith) works. When the devotee calls in earnest, She protects. Now this has just occurred, in that I just received a great protection plan from lifelock.com (1-800-542-3562), for those who maybe interested. I now can rest in Her love of me, not only in regards to my protecting my finances, but really protecting me from darkness. She who dispelling all darkness...is Chandi. There are events that will come to us that speaks to us and alert us to listen to the reality. I think I just am listen better now, more than ever.Peace and in all goodness,Edward, roy.papia <roy.papia Sent: Monday, July 7, 2008 9:30:42 AM[www.ShreeMaa.org] Re: Chandi Path Study of Chapter 4, verses 1-5Namaste Srini, I am privelged to join the discussion today. Guest guest
True wealth is the capacity that awareness has to be aware of itself, of which the entire universe and all its beings are but ornaments.
