Dear Henny ~ you have been an inspiration to me from the day you first showed up on the digest. In fact, your devotion and practice were so beautiful to "see" unfold, and your questions always went straight to the heart of the matter ... as do your comments and responses to questions from Maa and Swamiji. I believe I have also had a sankalphobia due to my difficulty in keeping up. In fact, at the end of the year that we did the 9 Planet sankalpa, for reasons related to chaos in my life and because I was becoming more ill, I didn't not finish out the year. I nearly cried when I got the beautiful T-shirt from Maa. I felt I didn't deserve it, and I've never been able to wear it. But I realize now that in disowning the gift, I am, in a sense not trusting Maa's unconditional love. So guess I'll find it and put it on. And I would add that perhaps it goes beyond success/failure as you indicate above, but that we were always already home. (click heels three times...) Guest guest
Dear Linda, thank you for your kind words. I remember someone said here once that the first year of practice is easy, then it gets difficult:) Fortunately, we are all in this together and we are guided and inspired by Maa and Swamiji no matter what. Wear your t-shirt, think of it as the Armor of the Goddess, with love, Henny , nierika wrote: > > > Henny wrote: > > I even developed a sankalpafobia for a > while.
