Guest guest
Namaste Linda and all family: In my experience, it takes concerted effort to keep on the straight and narrow path. One makes a sankalpa, and so many different desires and emotions and thoughts arise to take one's attention away from the commitment. However, the effects of repeating a mantra over and over, or chanting the Chandi, etc, usually propel one through the distractions to victory. Keep going forward, Maa has told me this over and over. If you fall down, dust off, get up, and begin again. Don't beat yourself up, just thank God for the chance to begin again, and go forward. Maa is with us, and She knows we struggle with our ego, but, She supports us through thick and thin, and NEVER stops sending us love and strength.
