Remain contented with whatever you receive in a divine union, that whichGod has consented to give.Advanced Siva Puja (sadhana pancakam) - Published by the Devi Mandir

Dear maadevi and all ~ I had to take this opportunity to share something with the group. My husband and I married and were together for 9 years, during the mid 60's to mid 70's. Then we separated and were apart for 29 years. Yet, inexplicably, the Universe kept our paths crossing completely unexpectedly. Each time we felt that spark, saw the light in each other, but then turned and went back to our lives.

Now after having been apart for 29 years, we have reunited. In September we will have been together for a year. As I was considering my relationship with David, back when I was in NM, I kept thinking ... we never got divorced; we keep crossing paths; maybe we are looking a gift horse in the mouth and trying to ignore what is sitting on our noses. And I thought, I believed, that God/dess wanted us to be reunited. So here we are, with our lumps and bumps, but I have to thank Maa and Swamiji and all the devotees at the Mandir and in the Digest group ... because without Maa's and Swamiji's Grace, without the growth I have undergone by my small involvement, this would never have been possible. Now, things that would have sent me into the screaming meemies in our earlier relationship, just pass like clouds in the sky. I am so grateful to God/dess because I do believe this from the above: "Remain contented with whatever you receive in a divine union, that which God has consented to give." Ours is truly a divine union, and I often look to Ram and Sita as my examples.

Jai Sita Ram

Dear Linda,

So nice to know that David and yourself are united.

Through Gurujis love and guidance, i too am slowly understanding this

text. At each days' dawning, i ask that Her Will be done in me, for me

and through me " , and whatever comes my way, most times i say " Thank You

Mother " . It is not always easy to accept but no matter how hard or

negative it may appear at face value in the end, the positive side

always shines through. Jai Maa!

Thanks for sharing Linda. May Divine Mother continue to bless and

direct your union.
