Hi misra, hi all ~ there was an additional bit of "stuff" I wanted to share with the group, but didn't want to make the previous email longer than it already was. When I turned on the news this morning, there was an amazing news report that really touched me. And it really made a clear "snapshop" of how something that might be negative can become positive. This incident happened a month ago, in Nashua, New Hampshire. So how does one "see" this? Was parabda karma coming back to this young man, or was the event part of a larger overall "plan," expressing the Will of God/dess. The second was how I interpreted it, after getting over the shock. A youngman, Leon Valeska, was riding his motorcycle on the roof of a 4 story parking garage (don't ask me to explain why he'd be doing that) when his cycle "mysteriously" accelerated and went, with Leon, over the 3 foot "wall" around the edges of the of the roofing. Of course, he crashed, and friends who were watching believed they had witnessed the death of their friend. He was rushed to a hospital, was in and out of a coma, and yet now he is up and about and talking. To see the video of this amazing young man, go to: http://www.wmur.com/news/17277186/detail.html Leon believed that it was God who saved him. I pretty much agree. That was an accident that, according to all the doctors said, no one would survive, much less thrive. As I listened to this story, I teared up, and immediately, I thanked God/dess that this young man was saved ... I believe this to be, in part at lleast, a message to anyone who hears of this "accident," to be a very direct message that, even in the most dire experience, God/dess can intervene, can prevent a situation from being worse, and even more, can help the "victim" become a "victor.". (My hubby disagrees ... but he is, unfortunately, an atheist.) I felt it as a message to me, and now this man, because he was wearing his motorcycle helmet is going to be doing a national campaign to encourage motorcyclists to wear their helmets. Jai Maa!!!!!! Jai Swamiji!!!!!! It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thank you for sharing the news item. It was hair raising! Even during the Tsunami, or in the bam earthquake or air crashes and train accidents we have seen such miracles. They have no logical explanation. I think faith does not mean being foolhardy, but quite the opposite. This young man had lady luck on his side. I'm sure he had no time to pray before he fell, so perhaps his 'destiny' had a role to play. , nierika wrote: > > > misra wrote: > > >>I would like to add that just as we can pray to enhance the presence > >>of God in others' lives, while enhancing our own, we are just as > >>capable of hurting others through our negative thoughts deeds and > >>actions.
