Namaste Suresh and all: greetings. I am not certain I understand the

full scope of your question. But as a starter, I suggest you go

on-line on your computer, long onto www.shreemaa.org Sunday morning

at 9:30 AM Pacific time and use the Web Camera and participate in the

group Chandi Path chanting.

If you can do that, then you will see how we chant the Chandi. Using

the most recent version of the Chandi text from the Devi Mandir, begin

on Page 14-33, Kusundika, Then go to page 86, Vedoktam Ratri Suktam.

Then to page 107, Navarana Vidhih. Then to page 119 when we begin

the 700 verses of chapters 1-13.

Then Japa of of the Chandi Mantra.

Then to page 370, Siddha Kunjika, then to 384, Devi Maya, then to page

385, Bhagavati Stuti. Then we perform aarti singing the Chandi aarti

at the end of the book.

The entire chanting at the homa takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes,

and ideally one sits in an asan, not moving one's knees off the floor

the entire time. The 700 verses are chanted 2 verses to a breath.

Even if you cannot view the Chandi on-line, this is the shorter

sankalpa which we perform every Sunday. It covers about 2/3rds of the

entire text. So you can chant it anytime this way. Of course, you can

chant it cover to cover anytime too.

I hope this helps. Please post more questions as needed.

If you do not have the current Chandi Path text from the Devi Mandir,

it can be ordered through the web site: www.shreemaa.org

Dear Vish and Family,

Thanks so very much for posting the order of the Sunday Morning Chandi.

I have been trying to follow along but am totally lost. I think this

outline will help some. I can't recite or understand most Sanskrit but

sometimes I can bumble along a bit. I just bought a new Chandi and had

it spiral bound to help a bit more. I might not be able to really

participate by chanting along, but I love the bhav and family feel of

those morning s! Again many thanks!

love,

karen

Namaste ,

Sincere thanks to every one for answering my query.

I am going to have the Chandi path book spiral bound - but Kinko and

UPS both refuse to do so - copyright issues.

Once again, sincere thanks to everyone.

Namaste,

Why would they refuse to sprial bound the book? There is only a copyright issue

if you are copying the pages first. Kinko's does this everywhere regularly.
