Dear Linda,Thank you for sharing with us your personal experiences with us whichare a source of inspiration. In fact, it is our turbulent life that isa window to the Divine, that is when we turn into dispassionateobservers looking thru' the window at our lives.

Dear vish ~ thank you so much. This is so true, and also true is the fact that the sharing of the members of the Devi Mandir family. We are all windows and mirrors to one another. Thank all of you ~ Linda

P.S. Let me take the time here to say, once again, I am very far behind in the digest ... but perhaps responding to these less recent post may be an offering to anyone who is new or anyone who perhaps missed the initial post. Periodically, once a month, or sometimes, every two weeks, David helps me make a two day journey to Derby Connecticut to see specialist. He is Hindu (!!!) and the Econolodge we stay in over night is run by a family of Hindus (!!!). Somehow this all feels very dharmic to me. This wonderful doctor, Doctor Hashmi, is doing something that should have been done long ago, which is to give me lots of tests to rule out or rule in what is really going on with my body. He believes it is more than just the Fibromyalgia.

So, the trip before, I went to get an MRI of my brain (!!!). I tried really hard not to be anxious about it because then it was another two weeks before I could go hear the results. The good news is that there is no tumor or cancer in my brain. (And believe me when I tell you, I held all of you in my heart and took Maa and Swamiji with me, so to speak, on this journey. When they took me in for the MRI (one of those where you go inside a tube), one of the technicians asked me if I was claustrophobic. I said that I was, which is true, but that I could handle the MRI because I had my own way of shutting out the claustrophobia (which is to chant the Durga mantra!} And...still more about the mothers in our lives and how they help us.

So when they brought me out, I said, "Is that it?" And they said, "yes." I asked them how long I had been in the tube. They said 45 minutes. I said it had felt like only 10!!!!It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
