Guest guest
Namate KAREN AND SURESH and all family: I have been chanting the Chandi with Maa and Swami each Sunday for 3.5 years. I am not an expert in the Chandi, and do not read Sanskrit. So I decided to do my best, and allow Maa to give me what was best at each moment. So, this is what I tried: in the beginning, I made a simple sankalpa: follow each word of each verse with my eyes. Whether I could pronounce the word, or even move my lips fast enough, I could at least follow the words. This system has worked well for me and as time has passed, each Sunday I am able to read more of the words, breath in harmony with Maa and Swami, and feel the bhav grow stronger and stronger. This is an incredibly powerful sadhana, and to be PRESENT, tuning into Maa and Swami, is the best place to be. They will take care of the rest. Pray for their help, and as Ramakrishna says: take one step towards God, and God will run towards you. Guest guest
Namaste Vish, Your explanation helps a lot. I appreciated what you said about making a simple sankalpa. For me it's hard to follow because the pictures are so smal/blurryl on my little laptop and the sound is not very clear so it is hard to sit here especially with my " physical stuff " for 3 hours (excuses!)...but I am formulating my own simple sankalpa with your help, your advice, and your outline. It might be something like being there and following the beginning which your outline helps with, sitting in my chair watching as long as I can (I can only sit for short periods before needing to walk), and then coming back and forth, doing as best I can and then being present at the end. It is often hard to see the friendly people at the end receiving blessings and being here alone. That is where I need to pray to Maa to help me see the light and love and bhav to overcome the dark loneliness. Thanks again. love, karen , " inspectionconnection108 " <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namate KAREN AND SURESH and all family: I have been chanting the > Chandi with Maa and Swami each Sunday for 3.5 years.
