Guest guest
Worship does not mean the memorization of mantras, or even the proper placement of the flowers and other objects. Worship is an attitude of respect, of dedication, of devotion to the exclusion of selfishness. Guest guest
Dear Family, I have been thinking a lot about what is prayer and what is worship for someone like me. And I get so much help from this group. Living far out in the country away from churches and temples, having never been to a Hindu temple, yet being so mysteriously drawn to Shree Maa and Swamiji, I have a lot of confusion about how to make my life a prayerful one. This is the only group of " congregants " I have. I guess my inner spirit is a mix of so many things. I do so very much appreciate and admire those of you who were born Hindu (what an amazing way of life). I guess my path is one of zig zags and putting together pieces as best I can. This group is so welcoming and enlightening for one such as I am. So again this morning...thanks. love, karen , " maadevi55 " <maadevi55 wrote: > Worship does not mean the memorization of mantras, or even the proper > placement of the flowers and other objects.
