Guest guest
Dear Srinivasan,Namaste !I request you to suggest a schedule for the reading of the Chandi during the 9 days of Dasera. I request you to let me know the Daily chants that lead up to the Chandi Chant of the day as well as the concluding chants and arati.I cannot do the netire Chandi on a single day because I have my regular swadhyaya to perform. I request a favor of your reply.Affectionately,Sivakumar--- On Sun, 9/7/08, srini_sadhu <srini_sadhu wrote:srini_sadhu <srini_sadhu[www.ShreeMaa.org] Spiritual calendar Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 9:12 AM Namaste and Pranams! http://www.shreemaa .org/drupal/ spiritual_ calendar_ september_ 7_14 contains the spiritual calendar for the week. with love and respect, srini

I wasn't sure what else I could do. I have 2 email accounts. It appears as though I am joined to the group via my accoung (skyedaughter). But I receive the digest at my other email account (Nierika). Soon I will be getting rid of the aol account. Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to have the digests come to my mail. I will greatly appreciate any help as I don't want to stop getting the digests. Thanks to all ~ Linda
Guest guest
Dear Gauri, Brindavanshakti and all involved in this discussion, Brindavanshakti's negative perception of the story moved so many positive responses. Even Ramakrishna has said that EVERYTHING -both good and evil are part of Maya created by God. The classic example of the shadow created by light falling on an object is so illustrative. What is interesting about these Puranic stories is that they have so many dimensions and so much depth, limited only by our own sense of perceptions and attitudes. The Puranas are full of such stories - brindavanshakti should read Swamiji's translations. The one about Harishchandra would probably drive his sensitive spirit to the edge. They are like true life situations. The best of us is prone to those sins we KNOW are negative - anger, jealousy, passion, arrogance. Deny it, though we may. But when you have Gauri's attitude, or Vish's, you try to retain a positive attitude even in the worst of situations - and its that attitude that saves the situation. A negative attitude under the same circumstances can mean the END, failure. More and more management gurus are propagating this theory about winning and losing w attitudes. I 'worship' Maa and Swamiji because they are to me the epitome of what attitudes should be.. when I am beginning to get negative about a situation I think of their wisdom and take heart. Just another observation to end my sermon (Did I hear Yawns)Brindavanshakti says " what sort of a man would let his wife... " Excuse me, do men have some sort of ownership over their wives' thoughts or emotions? Is'nt a curse a spontaneous reaction (Karma's arrows) caused by anger etc.? Hmmmm.... Thank you all for your patience! I love this Blog. and I love the discussions.. I always find something to inspire me or remedies. Thank you all & Victory to Maa and Swamiji and US ALL!! Bharat is currently residing in NAPA in the Devi Mandir Ashram.
