The ninth day of September is a very special day, because...it is

Devi Spring's birthday! Dear Devi, your friends and family at the

Devi Mandir went to the Devi Mandir Garden of Bliss and

found a special Seed of Wisdom for you. Please accept this as our

birthday gift on this beautiful day:

(Shree Maa says:)

" When we don't know what reality is, we become sad. Maya makes us

sad. But that sadness is also not eternal, it's short-lived.

In the meantime, we have to be good actors, never take it seriously.

If you take it seriously, you're living in your head and

unconditional love will never come to you. Pure love will never come

to you, if you take yourself too seriously. I can't teach you too

much, it will have to come from within. "

(Living with the Soul, p.181)

may you find laughter spontaneously welling up in your heart today

and all days,

Happy Birthday, Devi! I love the Seed of Wisdom in this post. In fact,

all the birthday posts are wonderful for all of us. (Time to go back

and underline them in the book, I think.) love, karen
