Guest guest
Namaste all, Have heard this mentioned many times and read that certain texts should be used at these times of prayer. Assume it is morning(4-6), noon evening(4-6) & midnight. Is it 3 or 4? Does the word pray mean meditation, puja, or (Dear God will you help me with this) prayer or all of these? Cosmic puja p. 285 in Saraswati puja states:...three times of prayer by means of this hymn... Does this mean we take it out of puja and recite it alone? Is sankalpa ness.? Blessings to all! Thank you for your help in understanding this. Devi
Guest guest
Dear Devi et al, there are actually 4 times of prayer -- As Sri Vidya worshippers (that's us!) we observe all of them: 1) between night and morning -- dawn 2) between morning and afternoon -- noon 3) between day and night -- dusk 4) middle of the night Any practice you do at the times of prayer are great -- as Swamiji says, it is most important to do something! hope this helps, gauri , " Devi " <student61754 wrote: > > Namaste all, > Have heard this mentioned many times and read that certain texts should > be used at these times of prayer. > Assume it is morning(4-6), noon evening(4-6) & midnight.
