Guest guest
Namaste Linda and all: When I used to live in Iowa, I would constantly phone the Mandir, and ask what mantras or text to chant, when to do them, and how many to do. Each time the devotees passed Maa's instructions to me by phone, I did as much as I could of whatever sadhana they did. I did everything I could to align myself with Them. The more I did, the more they offered me, on every level of my life. They enriched me and my family in so many ways, they guided and lite my path, every step of the way. I cannot recount in words all which they did for me. I can only say: JAI MAA Each of us can decide what we wish to present to Maa Shakti and Shree Maa and Swami, in order to demonstrate our love and devotion to Them. Then we make our sankalpa, and go forward. Typically each day, Maa and Swami will spend many hours in the Temple performing sadhana. The web camera will be on the homa, or the altar as someone performs sadhana. But, each person will perform their own sadhana, for as long as they are able. Some will sit for hours, some for 1 hour. Some will chant each verse perfectly, others will chant slowly and mispronounce some mantras. But, each will be giving their best to Maa. Each will do whatever they can, given their body, their time, and their energy, to worhsip the Divine Mother. Whether one chants all or part of the Chandi each day, that is an individual decision. Look into your heart, and pray to Her, ask for Her guidance, and do what She suggests. And, each time you sit to perform your sadhana, pray to Her to give you the strength to devote your entire being to Her. Then, take Her blessing as She bestows them, and thank Her with all your heart for Her Grace. We are all individuals with our own path though the goal is the same. Worhship with joy has become my motto. No measurement or comparison. All you need is love, and if my worship is one of love, then whatever I do is great! love, karen Jail Maa!
