dear maadevi ~ thank you for posting this. I think this is one of those "secrets"

that is woven into the fabric of sanata dharma scriptures (or is it Vaidika ... or

are they the same thing?). It has been my recent experience of what

happens when I am able to employ the Witness, and what happens when I

do not, that really brings home to me the truth of these words from "The Guru

and The Goddess.

When I employ the Witness, I am in that state of no-thingness, where the

Witnesser and the Whitnessed are One. This may occur over a situation with

my husband; it may occur over the course of one or more days, and then

it seems to sanctify everything that happens, including my own experience

of myself, of others, of situations. When I don't employ the Witness, I am

actually more apt to experience confusion, discord, sorrow, even pain. Without

it, I am the buzzing bee searching frantically for the right "flower." When I am

able to be in that state, I am already there, with the flowers and the honey.

I have also learned that, at present, I can't tell whether or not I am

deliberately choosing to be or not be the Witness. It seems somewhat

idiosyncratic, occurring or not occurring. But I have become very aware

of the difference, and perhaps that is the first step ... awareness.

Again, my thanks ~ LindaLooking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges? Check out WalletPop for the latest news and information, tips and calculators.
