Navaratri has begun and it rocks! i just have to share this quick story with y'all and i'll post more later. This morning i officially started my sankalpa to complete 108 repetitions of the Devi Atharvashirsham. I have found a way that i think will be the best (at least for me) to help complete this sankalpa. I plan to chant 3 times in the morning with puja or Chandi, 4 times around lunchtime and 4 times in the evening (give or take a couple of repetitions to complete the 108). Anyways, this morning i had planned to chant the Chandi and then do my reps of the DA...as i started Chandi i changed my mind and decidied to just chant it as it comes up in the book (after ratri suktam and before navarna viddhi). I chanted the 3 times and looked up to see that Srini (whose altar is next to mine) has JUST FINISHED ESTABLISHING A POT! And it says in the DA that one should chant this as life is being established! is that cool or what? Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai Maa! i wish everyone the most fruitful Navaratri ever!
