to Devi Mandir Family ~ Lessons learned from Chapter 1

Dear Devi Mandir Family ~ as usual this turtle is a bit behind, so am just now posting about Chapter 1 of the Chandi Path, although I do think my Big Lesson was what happened when I thought I had left my Chandi books behind in a hotel ... big attachment. From Chapter 1, I learned:

 

1. She, the Supreme Goddess, the Great Measurement of Consciousness is the All in All; from Her

the Universe and all that is and is not is born; She is the one Whose Divine Leela draws us

into delusion, and, when we pay attention to Her, She is the one who wakes us up. She, being

All, being in all, is All, and so we, as part of this Goddess-created all; when we awake, realize we

are One.

 

2. I am my own worst enemy, so I pray that Ma Durga tears my self-indulgent thoughts apart. She is the

the one the Gods relied on, and She is the only One Who can free me from my small self.

 

3. Even though I am still quite ill, I will make little progress unless I pay attention and attend to Her.
