Guest guest
1. It took me a week to realize that the Brahmadi sap vimocanam is intrinsically linked to the chapters in the Chandi. Nanda pointed out the bija mantras. But also, in the first mantra she is named madhu kaitabha mardinyai, and she kills those two in the first chapter. In the second mantra she is named mahisasura sainya nasinyai and in chapter 2 she destroys the army of mahisasura … and so on. In chapter 7 she kills Passion and Anger and in mantra 7 is referred to as canda munda badha karinyai. 2.To kill Passion and Anger, the goddess creates Kali out of herself. We have not see her so fierce and so relentless before. Is it because, of all the thoughts, Passion and Anger are so difficult to control and eradicate? 3.It is interesting that this is the first time that the form we meditate on wears no weapons – She is the embodiment of peace and beauty listening to her parrots and playing a veena.
