Guest guest Posted October 12, 2008 Report Share Posted October 12, 2008 Chapter 3 1 -- I have to remember that even memories can be my enemy. 2 - Even though I think I may have slayed a thought, it can reappear in another form. Always be vigilant -- fight battles to true completion. 3 -- drinking in spirit and " speaking in the ecstasy of spirit " always protects me. It allows my speech to quiet the ego's ranting. Chapter 4 1 -- Though fierce when fighting a battle, the Divine Goddess is radiant and magnificent in Her beauty. 2 -- She is always there to protect us and protect the world. 3 -- After fighting our battles, She still generously grants a boon. And so by remembering Her, we please Her. And in that moment, She will appear and " give us intuitive vision and remove our greatest distress. " Chapter 5 1 --- Thank You for granting this boon. You reside in all forms. I call Your name and You appear. I bow to You, I bow, I bow. 2 -- Be aware of the ego in the form of " he who appears to be a friend. " The temptations are many. CALL HER NAME. 3 -- Even if She stands alone, never underestimate the strength of a woman, especially when She is protecting Her family!! Chapter 6 1 -- The bija mantra Hum is a mighty powerful mantra. 2 -- The great ego doesn't give up easily... 3 -- ...Nor does the Mother of the Universe -- Jai Maa! Chapter 7 1 -- Anger comes in two forms. It can work against us and lead us down the wrong path. Or, it can work for us and give us the strength to fight the Great Ego. 2 -- Kali, Slayer of Passion and Anger, thank You for battling on my behalf.
