Guest guest Posted October 16, 2008 Report Share Posted October 16, 2008 At the Blessed Lotus Feet of Guruji, I am one with God. Ironically, on this day – 16 October 1999, the journey began. There have been many lessons on this blessed journey so far, some easy others not so easy and there will be many more to come. Experiencing puja one of the most beautiful disciplines which, through the grace of Guruji, this child has been blessed to learn. This daily offering to the divine, gives the feeling of belonging and being at one with all, even if only at times for a moment is beautiful. This daily discipline has changed my way of life in many ways. Though I would always spend time signing praises and worshipping, the practice of puja makes the worship more complete and soul satisfying. Maa and Swamiji always teaches us to be efficient, before and even during the early months of walking this path, there was time for lots of chit chatting, watching movies and the likes. That interest has slowly waned. At first the letting go was painful… that ego, you know ….. but gradually, through the grace and love of Guruji, unnecessary attachments are falling away with a smile and the thought "Mother, only that Your Will Be Done". It is such a wonderful and contented feeling to sit and gaze with love on the Goddess and receive Her smile and waves of love in the heart. To recall the blessed touch or smile of Gurujis especially during worship. Beloved Mother, may this heart be a sea of love for You, limitless. I, too feel blessed that even from a distance I can learn and grow from the efforts and determination they have shown in making all these ways of approaching Shakti and Shiva available. Jai Ma! For many years my dream has been of learning the rituals to honor the Great Goddess and God and now it is in my hand. Now this small cup will be filled to overflowing! Om Jai Ma Kali!
