Guest guest
Namaste Renuka and all: Dear Renuka: here is Swami's response to your question about Chandi worship. SWAMI'S REPLY: Namaste Renuka, In addition to the japa of the mantra, at least one mala morning and evening to start, you will want to recite Siddha Kunjika Stotram from the Chandi Path at the end of each meditation session. You will know that you are performing correctly in the same way you know when you are in love. You will feel Her most intimately. There are so many nonsense superstitions surrounding the worship of the Goddess. Please do not listen to any of them. There will be so many people to tell you Don't! Don't worry about them. She is Your Mother. Love Her and Trust Her. Where do you live? Swamiji

Guest guest
Dear Vishweshwar,Joy Maa! The India blog is awesome and its nice to see all the pictures.I have been working on learning the Cosmic Puja using Swamiji's online classes - just done 4 classes till now. I had the following questions I am hoping to get help with from someone in the family whenever they get the time:1. In a sankalpa, usually if I am praying for myself, I say Shri <my name>. Swamiji says in the lessons that if we pray for others then we can say their name in the sankalpa. What should I say if I want to pray for the entire cosmos?2. Which is special for Ganesh - crab grass or wheat grass or bermuda grass? Does the distinction matter?3. On page 43, when we say "Om Punyaham (3 times)"... should we use upasamhar mudra like it is used for "Om Shanti Shanti Shanti" or there is no need for a mudra here?4. The cosmic puja map/picture online shows a placement of flowers for the "sankalpa on page 30". I don't see anywhere on P. 30 where 11 flowers are to be placed. Also, right below that row there is another row of flowers. Does it correspond to the mantras on P. 23?Jai Maa,Prasana--- On Fri, 10/24/08, inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 wrote:inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108[www.ShreeMaa.org] Q + A with Swami: Renuka Date: Friday, October 24, 2008, 6:48 PM Namaste Renuka and all: Dear Renuka: here is Swami's response to your question about Chandi worship.
