Guest guest
Thank you for your sincere good wishes for me and Doug. Yes it was Doug's picture that I put on my altar. It felt odd at first and I was uncomfortable with giving him divine honors. But I realized within Sanatana Dharma this is a way of offering respect to those that you value and love. I was not raised this way and so I did not completely understand. Now I see that I am giving respect to the Deity within that illuminates and gives each person the energy of life. I do hope that we will come to view each other as Goddess and God. It will be a long slow process that I must not try to hurry along but to develop in a natural manner. I have failed before, so I am praying with all my might that I will not forget what I have learned and that I will forget all the selfishness that has darkened my heart in the past. But if I did fail, I still served those I loved to the best of my ability even though my understanding was clouded. May Ma take away my darkness and allow my light to shine. Om Jai Kali Ma! Om Namah Shivaya!
