To Kumari and all: Great News!-Ideal Relationships

Namaste Kumari and all family: Congratulations. As you start on this

incredible adventure, I suggest you and your intended read the book

BEFORE BECOMING THIS.

Maa and Swami wrote this book, available to purchase at the Devi

Mandir web site. Chapter 21 is called RELATIONSHIPS, MEN AND WOMEN,

WHAT'S THE POINT? "

This is a great primer for anyone entering into a long term committed

relationship. Maa and Swami establish why men and women should get

together and how to establish goals and live together leading a God

centered life, including worshiping each other as Shiva and Durga.

 

Maa says: " Relationships have become competitive instead of being a

place to learn respect. Everybody wants to win, but where is the

peace? ..... We haven't learned how to give. If each person would

practice giving to their partner, their relationships would be

peaceful and harmonious. Instead, most of us are very selfish. We

are only thinking about ourselves. Therefore, in the Indian system,

this time in the history of the planet is called the Dark Age.

" People are increasing the population, but they don't have a goal or

purpose. They are bringing souls to the earth and not teaching them

spiritual wisdom.

Swami says: " I suggest that a person without a purpose better find

one. Without a purpose it is difficult to have a meaningful life. How

can you accomplish anything if you don't know what your goal is? We

need to find a goal that would be worthy of our commitment. "

 

I recommend this book for it gives all of us wisdom on creating and

maintaining ideal, God centered relationships. And for those of us in

relationships, we can find inspiration and practical techniques to

prevent and/or cure existing problems.
