Guest guest
Namaste all family: In BEFORE BECOMING THIS, Maa and Swami talk about relationships. On page 225, Swami talks about PURPOSE. ..... " But if you have common goals, and the purpose of your relationship is just to assuage your loneliness, then as soon as your needs are no longer being fulfilled, the relationship is history. The best thing to do is to stop and think, " What would be a commitment worthy of my dedication? What do I want to give to this world " ? Some examples of dedication are: to the environment, to world peace, to music, to art, or having a family and raising children. Maa says: " Everyone is different. the foremost objective is for them to give respect to their actions and show respect through their actions. " What do you mean by respect? Swami says: " To have peace and joy and love in your heart; to love enough to give all your attention to the exclusion of the wandering mind and selfish desire. " If 2 people are performing their actions with that kind of respect, what does their relationship look like? Maa replies: " Whatever act they are performing gives birth to peace. " Jai Ma Jai Swami vishweshwar
Guest guest
Dear vish ~ once again my thanks to you for sharing the words of Maa and Swamiji. More often I am becoming aware of "looking" at what I am doing and knowing I am not doing it for the highest intent, and sometimes I am being indulgent in my feelings and actions. But every times I'm aware of this, I have the opportunity to offer this darkness to Divine Mother, and transform the experience. Do I always make this choice? No, I am still selfish and self indulgent in many ways, but seeing this reflected in my mirror shows me where the mirror needs to be dusted and cleaned. Jai Maa !!! Jai Swamiji !!! ~ Linda vish wrote: ....Maa says: "Everyone is different. the foremost objective is for themto give respect to their actions and show respect through their actions."What do you mean by respect?
