Guest guest
Namaste dear friends, We are all aware that Beloved Shree Maa and Swamiji will be travelling to Banaras from tomorrow 1 November, 2008 for about 1 month. Swamiji has given his blessing for us who are unable to join the family at this time to offer versed 94 to 97 of the Guru Gita daily along with at least 3 repetitions of Shree Maa's mantra while observing the instructions at verse 95 which says – "In the morning, remember the divine name in the brilliant lotus in the head, along with the Guru with two eyes and two arms, who grants the boons of freedom from fear and peace." In case the question of the divine name referred to in vs 95 arises, here is the answer from the Group's FAQs: Guru Gita Verse 95 1. Can you please direct us what is the "divine name" referred to in verse 95 of the Guru Gita? We are thinking GuRu or Om Namah Shivaya. Both are correct. It also refers to the Guru's name and the mantra that you took from the Guru as well. Shree Maa's mantra is : Om sanatani mayavidmahe Jñana praka´sayai dhimahe Tanno ´sri mam pracodayat Let us take the vow and make the effort to stay in tune with Guruji. Jai Maa Jai Swamiji
