Guest guest
Dear Dhani ~ I do japa every night as I am falling asleep, because I have such difficulty falling asleep. After awhile, I drift off on the mantra. It also helps me during many other situations when I am feeling fear, confusion, etc. Yesterday I had to go the dentist. I was terrified. I have always been terrified to go the dentist. Now I am having to have a lot of work done on my teeth because I didn't take care of them for 6 years while I was in an abusive relationship. (Although I used japa a lot during that time, just to make it through every day until, eventually I had the courage to kick the guy out.) Anyway, yesterday I had a big filling needing to be done, and I was so scared that when I sat in the chair, I started to cry. This is even with knowing I am going to have novacain and nitrous oxide. So I began to do a mala of the Durga mantra, as the dentist began to work. It really helped, and just as I was at the end of the mala, the work was done. Jai Durga Ma Linda P.S. Of course I also say the Durga mantra when I am feeling good; it is my mantra of choice. In a message dated 11/12/2008 12:42:25 A.M. Check your beliefs around the Chandi, are you afraid of things that are not there? fear attracts that which you fear. Do japa at night untill you fall asleep and eventually when you are in a nightmare you will find yourself chanting and the nightmare will fade.AOL Search: Your one stop for directions, recipes and all other Holiday needs.
