Hi All

 

I am a new member in this group and a devotee of Divine Mother (we

call her with different names as Bhagvati, Durga etc.). Can somebody

in the group please give me a little intoduction of " Devi "

and " Swamiji'. Please forgive me if i am sounding rude here. i am

worshipping Mother since i was 15 through Sri Durga Saptshati

(Chandi).I am reading the complete Chandi everyday in the morning

after bath since this Navratra but don't feel anything great. I don't

do it to attain something specific and i am not going to give it up

either but but i am just curious. Has anybody in this group ever had

a vision of Mother like Sri Ramakrishna used to have. Does it make a

difference if one reads it in hindi or sanskrit. Please let me know

the best possible way to worship MOTHER which has yield any results

(her vision, any special boon etc.)

Namaste Amar,Good to meet you.If you have been doing it in hindi and feel you know what it's all about and want to start on the sanskrit then do. Swami ji says it is the language of the Goddess. It's a joyious experience indeed. You could try adding parts of it in sanskrit and working up to more as you feel lead.You would do good to do it with family on sundays also.That was a lot of help.
