Guest guest
Dear Sergio ~ your enthusiasm is catching! : ) I still feel like a rank beginner. For awhile I felt I had passed kindergarten and gone to first grade, but it turns out that was premature, and I have had to return to kindergarten. (Swamiji sometimes uses a school analogy when talking about the relationship to the Guru ... what makes the Guru most happy is similar to the teacher in school. What she wants is for you to pass, go on to the next grade and ultimately, graduate. Similarly with Swamiji ~ he wants for us to do our best, progress, and ultimately graduate!) Anyhow, if you loved "Before Becoming This," let me also recommend "Sahib Sadhu" which means something like "white seeker." If you haven't read it, it's a wonderful account of Swamiji and his journey in India, his meeting with his first guru, and ultimately, his meeting with Shree Maa. It made me cry; it made me laugh; it's wonderful! Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda Sergio wrote: ....In the meanwhile, I received and have almost finished reading'Before Becoming This': truly one of the most inspiring and exciting booksI have come across!...
