Mantra for World Peace 2009

Dear Family,

As you might know, Shree Maa would like us all to chant the Sarva

Badha Mantra immediately followed by Durge Durge Rakshani Hum Phat

Svaha as a prayer for World Peace.

Shree Maa suggested that we each chant 5 malas everyday.

The text, transliteration, and audio of the mantra are available here:

http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/1788

Every mantra counts, so if you are able to do fewer than 5 malas

that's great too!

Some of you are already chanting it - thank you! At the Mandir we are

chanting the mantra at the fire.

We would like to start a new blog that, among other things, compiles a

count of the # of mantras that we as a group are chanting. The

objective is to inspire more people to chant the mantra.

To help us keep the count, please email us at

mandir_totals

or make a post on the club.

If you would like to participate but would prefer that your name not

be disclosed on the web site, we will include your count under

" devotees " . Or we could use a pseudonym!

Once we get a list of participants we well get the blog started.

Thanks!

Hi Srini-

I couldn't quite hear Maa's pronuciation of trailokyasyaaskhileshvari.

Is it broken down as trailokya - sy - aaskhil - eshvari or as

trailokyasy - aaskhil - eshvari?

Blessed Be

Marsha

Namaste` Srini Baba,

Please excuse if this is a repeat question. I have been looking to see

if someone else posted it but have not found. For the sankalpa, do we

repeat the Durge Durge Rakshani Hum Phat Svaha one time at the end of

the 5 malas of the Sarva Badha Mantra daily or each time we resite the

Sarva Badha Mantra 5x108 daily?

Thank you for this clarification. I join the Sankalpa for 2009.

Peace,

Sadhu Maa

Dear Sadhu Maa,

One repetition of " the mantra " is

Sarva Badha .... asmad vairi vinashanam. Durge Durge Rakshaani Hum

Phat Svaha.

We repeat this mantra over an over again to complete the 5 malas

Hope this helps.

Love,

srini
