Dear vish ~ this really struck me. It reminded me of all the times when I was doing something, just waiting for it to be over with. Much of this for me was unhealthy relationships. ...well, once this one thing is done, I will let this person know the truth...and then it was this thing and another thing and another thing. I was living in my fear ~ fear of telling the truth, fear of being alone, fear of hurting another (though this last was perhaps the most aggregious of my excuses because the little voice inside me kept asking, do you really think you're doing this person a favor by hanging on? The answer was always, no.

Now, at my ripe age, I've realized that all of this is very much my own drama, continuing to enact what I learned as a child. Now I am telling myself that my circumstance is my cave in the Himalayas, and whatever I do here is my worship. I still "waste" time arguing with myself, but the inner soul is waking up, taking peeks, saying ... whatever "work" you must do, here is where you must do it, and now is when. Thank you for Maa's quote and for sharing your experience so well, as you always do. Jai Maa Jai Swamiji

"I'm privileged to do this action to serve the MotherIt's all in your mindWe're not doing it to get over itEverything you do is puja and prayerEvery action you resent is your bondageApproach your actions with respect and efficiency You can be free in your actionsLove what you're doing, why you're doing it, and who its forThe highest delight"Each of these is so powerful and carries Her shakti right to yourHeart. I really resonate with "Every action you resent is your bondage."I think back on all of the actions of just this past day and how oftenI wished it was over so I could get to do what "i" wanted to do. Well, just reading this message from Maa, and I become aware again,Tomorrow I will pick myself up, brush off, and start again. I pray tobe in the moment and enjoying each moment as Her gift.
