Guest guest
Namaste all: today after completing Shiva puja, I decided to meditate. For many years I have used puja as a guided meditation, but did not close my eyes during or after the puja. Well, it was truly a wonderful feeling to slip into meditation. My thanks all of you who brought the notion to us all. The puja is a perfect prep for eyes-closed meditation. Thinking about God, offering Him your best, chanting His name, washing Him, dressing Him. Then, when all done expressing your love, devotion, and thanks, close the eyes and slip into the consciousness of infinite goodness. I hope I can incorporate this experience into my daily sadhana. To all my family, thanks. How have others felt? What is your experience? Jai Ma Jai Swami vishweshwar
Guest guest
This is so very true. Thank you for sharing, Vish. After puja I take time to chant my mantra and then sit to meditate as best I can. I must remember that when I need to meditate the most is when I am least inclined. It takes a bit to overcome that resistance, but I am always happy when I do. Ma knows my heart, but I still need to make the effort.
