Guest guest
Namaste Kumari and all: as incredible as we all felt Wednesday night, Thursday night was even better, if that is possible. Each class seems to build in intensity upon the previous. The bhava is so strong, that when Swami was performing the bahya matrika nyasa on P. 134-140, one could feel each letter on one's body as Swami touched his own and established them on him. The letters are limitations of the infinite, and when he completed the technique, he was wearing the universe as a covering. He said: " ...I can control the vibrations of the universe in my body, and thus, I can control world around me, so as I become more coherent, I can bring coherence to the world around me. " {Swami paraphrased} What an incredible experience. He and Maa live this reality and can pass it onto us. Whether in person or through the transmission of consciousness as we watch from afar, time and space prove no limitations to either of them. And, we can do this technique for ourselves. Amazing. What a gift they are giving us. Please listen to the class, especially as he chants the mantras. Close your eyes and join him in the process. Then towards the end of class I asked him how to balance the spiritual part of our lives with the working world. He said there is no difference between our worship and our working lives. Do not create a distinction between our spiritual life performing puja and our life " outside working " . He went on to say that this is the " original sin " , that division we create. He said: " carry yourself in the example of your Guru, who goes out to GIVE to everyone, to UPLIFT. Be a GIVER. Maa goes everywhere and takes chocolates to offer to those she meets. She is here to serve all, to do good for all, and She wants us to be the same. Be problem solvers, give more than you take, make people happy, serve them, that is being spiritual. Be spiritual no matter what you are doing. All of our lives should be spiritual. Your office is your Temple, serve your clients like you serve Shiva. Well, I could go on and on. It is much better to listen to Swami himself. Please take the time to go to www.shreemaa.org, or to the link which Srini supplied in a recent post, and become absorbed in his bhava.
