once i make my wrongs right i want to give my life totally to

shiva/shakti and leave my life behind so i can serve shiva/shakti

Namaste,

So happy to hear your recovery is going well. I don't feel qualified to answer your question. Yet I am sure the mother will bring and answer for you.

Dear Brother,

Good for you for staying clean! Remember (and remind yourself a

thousand times a day if you need to) one of the greatest honors you can

ever give to your soul and to God is to rise above addiction in this or

any lifetime - and stay that way.

As for becoming a sadhu, just do it. What is stopping you?

Commitments? Most of them you were supposed to leave behind in the

first place. Take care of necessary obligations and go forward on your

journey realizing who you really are, simply a loved child of God.

Understand you may not be able to correct your past trangressions -

that's why you handed everything, everything, EVERYTHING over to God in

the first place. You may try (which I believe embodies Steps 4 - 8) -

but know that God forgives you, even if others don't.

If the divine desire is strong enough (and yes, if becoming a sadhu is,

in fact, what you are supposed to so) God will open doors for you. But

know God may have a different plan. Again, this is why you turned over

all desire. Trust that God knows what God is doing.

warm, love and light to your heart!

sal.

(sober six years!!)
