Guest guest
On Saturday Feburary 7th, Swami performed Hanuman puja. At the end of it, Maa suggested we all rise and sing. Swami remained seated, staring intently at the murti of Hanuman on the altar. We all became silent as Swami continued to look at Hanuman. After some minutes, Swami began to talk to Hanuman, as I would talk to any of you, if we were face to face. He implored Hanuman to give us the boon of pure devotion. He spoke for sometime, describing how we all were trying our best and how he had performed puja, so would Hanuman please grant all of us this boon? Then he became silent, listening to Hanuman " reply " . While we all heard nothing, Swami was in conversation with Hanuman. Over and over he asked Hanuman to give us pure devotion. Then, Swami became silent. While I could not see his eyes, I knew and felt that he was meditating with closed eyes. We all joined him for many minutes. In that long, deep silence, I know Swami continued to press our case before Hanuman. After sometime, Swami arose, we all stood, and the evening satsunga was complete. I have never seen Swami ask God for help for all of us in this direct and personal way. Thanks Swami for your help and prayers. Please Hanuman, grant us Swami's desire. Guest guest
Wow. This was one of those very rare moments-- being in the presence of a great being and witnessing their divine connection. Guest guest
How wonderful! Jai Swmamiji! Jai Shree Maa! It is like Ramakrishna talking to Ma Kali and begging her to eat and being so familiar with Her. God is our nearest and dearest he would say. If you cannot ask God for your wants, who can you? And he asked for the same devotion for all of us! That is our Sahib Sadhu. Kumari , Elizabeth Conley <p2u2al wrote: > > Wow. Guest guest
Wow, thank you for sharing this Vish. Really beautiful. Funny thing - in the last few days I've been compelled to start reading Ramayana again, and have been hearing Hanuman Chalisa on several tapes and CDs. There's definately an increase in Rama/Krishna Bhava. Has anyone else noticed this?--- On Tue, 2/17/09, inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 wrote:inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108[www.ShreeMaa.org] Swami and Hanuman Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2009, 12:30 AM On Saturday Feburary 7th, Swami performed Hanuman puja. Guest guest
Glad you mentioned this increase in Bhava! I had the same feeling. And thanks to Vish for keeping us abreast of the significant events in the Devi Mandir, to which we all connect! Om Namah Shivaya!
