Namaste all: I believe that vision relates to our daily experience. As Swami

states: the 3 gunas, acting within relative time, are constantly revolving: new

creation-Brahma, maintenance, Vishnu, then dissolution, Shiva.

Just look at our thoughts in our mind: new thought-new idea, work to manifest

it, then it is reabsorbed, and other rises to take its place. The 3 must always

be in process for life to evolve, from the microcosm to the macrocosm they are

constantly in motion, in play.

We try to get them in balance, and maybe can succeed for some moments, but our

goal is to transcend them, move into the Source, then come our refreshed and

recharged.

Thus our pujas, chanting, homas, etc., balanced with a live lived in the world,

are the necessary tools to live a life of wholeness and harmony.

Thanks Vish,

I found a timely quote:

Time is in the mind, space is in the mind. In reality time and space exist in

you; you do not exist in them. They are modes of perception, but they are not

the only ones. Time and space are like words written on paper; the paper is

real, the words merely a convention. All existence is imaginary.

-Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

William Mills seems to have connected into our group discussion!

But I still do not understand the meaning of the horrifying vision. Or why Sri

Ramakrishna should have had such a vision.
