Dear Ramya ~ what a wonderful celebration! I have been aware of Holi for many years, but didn't really understand it's purpose. What a wonderful way to celebrate the sacredness of unity in diversity! Thank you ~ Linda

Hope you are all happy and enjoying more sunshine and longer days! Today was the full moon in the month of Falgun - the day we celebrate the Holi festival. As a child i remember we used to get up early and rush to wear DIRTY clothes! :) Yes, not nice ones -- because we then played with colors and wet water balloons! Later when everybody was totally dirty and completely unrecognizable it was time to eat sweets and snacks and sing songs! In our neighborhood, they would give prizes to children for singing, poetry and public speaking -- the funny thing was we had to go up in front of all the parents and friends in our dirty clothes with dirty faces -- and sing beautiful songs! It was very joyful! :)It seems funny now - but then it was natural! That was Holi! We learnt in school that the message of Holi - is we are all the same, there is no different based on income, age, caste etc -- Everyone plays together and looks crazy - and laughs together! :):):) A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!

Dear Linda and Everybody!

Actually the scriptural story about the origin of Holi has the message that with

faith in God - everything is possible! Swamiji tells us this story in Swami

Puranas! It is about an asura Hiranyakashapu and his son Prahalad - a beautiful

young devotee of our Lotus-Eyed Lord (Vishnu).

If anybody wants to hear story again, please say so! :)

Om! Om! Om! :)
