Guest guest
Namaste Dr. Sandeep, Neeraj, Kali, Linda, Usha, Devi, Kamalaji and Kali -- and Everybody Here is third part of Maa's beautiful story. You can follow links to this message to read part 1 and 2. Remember there is an old lady and a little boy and the little boy is very sick now and the Seth refuses to give the old lady her money. She is back in her hut and the little boy is shivering with fever and saying " Maa, Maa " . She is helpless! She thinks, " If i take this boy and show him to the Seth, the Seth will believe me that i really need the money and he may give it to me -- and i can take the boy to the doctor. " BUT, She herself can barely walk - and barely see -- Yet, pulling together all her courage and all her love, she is determined to get help for the little one. She carries him on her back and little by little makes her way to the Seth's store. She says to the Seth, " Look here, this boy is suffering sooo much. Give me my money now. i need to take him to the doctor. " The Seth looks at the boy and is amazed --- He says, " My son, my son, my son. " He tells the old lady that boy is his lost son. He lost the son in a fair and was delighted to see him now. He took the son in his arms and summarily dismissed the old lady - once again. The old lady was distraught and went back to her hut. She was old and tired -- and herself developed fever. Meanwhile, the Seth called the best doctors in town - but no one could cure the boy. The boy was feverish and kept mumbling " Maa, Maa, Maa... " The Seth realized there was only one remedy. He made his way to the old lady's doorless, dirty, small hut. He told her that his son was very sick and was calling for her. The old lady was lying in a corner with high fever. She said " Oh Seth, your son has high fever and i do too. Go away. We will both go to heaven and there we will meet and be togther. No one can kick me out. Get lost. " She yelled at the Seth and he didn't know what to do. He gave up and started to leave. At that time, she got up and said, " wait, i will come to see that son. " She went with the Seth to his house and the little boy immediately rose up. She was with him for a few days and he completely recovered. The old lady then told the Seth, " Your son is well. I will leave now. " The Seth was much humbled. He said, " Mother it is me who is poor and it is you who are rich. Where will you go leaving us. Please stay with us. We cannot be without you. " :) Shree Maa said, " See the power of pure love. How beautiful it is. " She smiled sweetly and asked that all of you hear this and enjoy and learn! :) Om!!! Hope you liked the story!
