Namaste all family and Happy Navaratri: tonight, day 1 of Navaratri, Maa came

to the Temple and sang a beautiful poem from a Bengali Chandi. Swami then

translated. The poem described the meaning of chapter 1 of the Chandi. It

clearly described our daily experience: lost to our ego, unable to think

clearly, and heart full of pain. And, full of pain, we turn to Her for help. We

cry out Her name. And she comes.

As I listened, I knew that Maa is Chandi. As the Divine Mother, She heard our

cries and She manifested. She takes our confusion and fear and leaves us whole

and in harmony.

But, She can only act when we are ready and ask for Her help. We need to reach

out to Her, and She will wrap us in Her arms and heal our wounds.

After Maa finished reading, She asked each of us if Her reading clarified our

understanding of the Chandi. We all agreed that it was very powerful and

brought great clarity and bliss to our minds and hearts.

This made Her very happy.

Now we are hooked: we can't wait until Friday night for Chapter 2. Each night

of Navaratri Maa will read another chapter until She completes the Chandi.

Please tune into www.shreemaa.org at 6:30 PM Pacific time to hear Her sing.

Jai Maa Jai Swami
