Guest guest
During this evening's program in the temple (and on the webcam) when Shree Maa was singing about Chandi (a form of Durga Ma) in her own Bengali language, something about that powerful and playful Goddess's energy touched all of us in the room! And then Maa started calling Durga Herself into our presence with a relatively new song which she wrote entitled: Durge, Durge, Durge Jai Jai Ma. This song is inspired by " The Rosary of Thirty-two Names of Durga " which is in the Devi Mandir's Chandi Path book. I had been in India over these past 5 years, and had only heard this song of Maa's for the first time this November during the India Tour. The bhava (attitude of devotion) with which Maa sings this song, while leading us all into repeating Durga's names, is hypnotizing, elevating, and transforming. For that space of time, the door to heaven stood open for us. Oh, do I have to leave this bliss? Kamala
