Dear vish ~ it seems that I always have a reason to thank you. I am glad you do what you are doing ~ providing the extra information, and text sources, to enrich our understandings of what we do and why. I have never really understood Hanuman, except for his historic role at Ram's side, yet even that shows his selfless service. I hope the webcam will be up, but am glad to have this mantra. Much appreciation ~ Linda

Jai Maa!!! Jai Swamiji!!!

If we cannot be together on the internet, chant His mantra: Om ham hanumate rudratmakaya hum phat svaha: and perform puja to Him: and thank Him for coming to Earth to show us Pure Devotion, and ask Him to help us in anyway we need. His mantra means: Om, we bow to The Highest principle, to Hanuman, the manifestation of the Reliever of Sufferings, Cut the Ego! Purify! I am One with God!From the text: HANUMAN PUJA, from the Devi Mandir, p. 3., " Hanuman, the divine monkey, ever devoted, ever servicefull, is so full of love and faith that nothing remains difficult for him. If we cannot stop the movies of the monkey mind, then at least we can tune to the vision of the divine monkey. His dance is always graceful, his jumping an act of service, and his thoughts of devotion are always so soothing.""Rather than disdaining to watch the movie, let us certainly try to witness that divine epoch being replayed on the stage of consciousness. Let our movies be all about the purity of devotion to the Lord, rather than the more common history or this ego, with which so many of us spend so much time.""His name means: ha = Isvara, Supreme consciousness; nu means that which pervades; man means manifested: Hanuman, the manifested existence of the Supreme Consciousness which pervades all."
